The 5th Annual Point Richmond Haunted Halloween History Hike is set to take place Saturday, Oct. 30, from 4:30-6:30 p.m.

Led by Karen Buchanan, the 1.2-mile, family-friendly hike will start in downtown Point Richmond in front of the little Point Richmond History Association museum at 139-1/2 Washington Ave.

“Watch history come alive with ghosts of historic Point Richmond characters, including Martha Crichett and Kate Riordan, who will tell tragic story of the Bathing Lady, who still haunts the Hotel Mac,” organizers said. “Hear the spooky ghost stories about the Hanging House, the Cauldron House and Mary Stairley’s shoes.”

The hike is dog and kid friendly, kids under 12 are free and tickets for adults are $20 for advance purchase, $25 for same day purchase. Costumes are encouraged.
