The Richmond Standard (“Richmond Standard”, “we,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you when you visit our websites and applications (including www.richmondstandard.com and RS News mobile app (collectively, the “Site”), or use or access our other products and services that include an authorized link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Services”)), how we use the information we collect, with whom we share it, and the choices we offer you regarding our collection and use of such information.

We may collect personal information about you, meaning information that can uniquely identify you, from various sources, such as:
- Directly from you when you use the Services, such as when you register or subscribe for an account on or access certain features or content on the Site, enter into any sweepstakes, promotions or competitions, order products or services, or subscribe to our newsletters or email lists. We may also collect personal information about you from user generated content uploaded to the Site by you, or by a third party.

- HOW WE RESPOND TO DO NOT TRACK SIGNALS
We do not track users over time and across third party websites to provide targeted advertising. Accordingly, we do not currently respond or take any action with respect to web browser “do not track” signals or other mechanisms that provide consumers the ability to exercise choice regarding the collection of personal information about an individual consumer’s online activities over time and across third-party web sites or online service.

The Services are not directed to, and Chevron does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from, children under the age of 13. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will delete that information. - CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY
We reserve the right to update or change this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make a material change to our Privacy Policy, we will provide notice to you (by email and/or posting on our website) that our privacy practices have changed and will provide a link to the new policy. In the event we make a material change to how we use your personal information, we will provide you with an opportunity to opt out of such new or different use. - DATA TRANSFERS
Chevron Richmond is based in the State of California in the United States. When we obtain information about you, it may be necessary for us to transfer, process, and store such information outside of the country in which you reside, including in the United States. By using the Services, you consent to the transfer to and processing and storage of your information in countries outside of your country of residence, which may have different data protection laws than those in the country where you reside.
