Marina Bay resident and comedian Dan Machanik will headline a free Comedy Night at Riggers Loft in Richmond Saturday, May 11 from 6-8 p.m.
The evening is touted as featuring fine wine, great food and timeless comedy, with Dashiell Renaud stepping in as MC/host and comic Elisha Tan, who has performed in the U.S. and abroad, also appearing that night.
Machanik comes to Riggers Loft following a three night sold out run in Las Vegas, and on the heels of a headline show at Mac’s in Marin.
“It’s time for all of you who keep thinking about showing up but haven’t had a chance to come take the trip,” said Machanik to his fans, known as the “Gonzo Nation,” ever since the comic was once introduced for a show by writer, Hunter S. Thompson.
He said the show will be his final Bay Area appearance this month.
Riggers Loft is located at 1325 Canal Blvd. in Richmond. Reservations are highly recommended.
