Breathe new life into your broken items at the “FixIt Clinic,” set for Saturday, May 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the San Pablo Library.

The day of fixing is offered free of charge via a partnership among RecycleMore, the San Pablo Library and FixIt Clinic.

The clinic welcomes broken toys, appliances, electronics and such for assessments and possible fixing that day. At the event, community members can consult FixIt coaches, use its workspace/tools and learn how to repair things, according to organizers.

“All ages are welcome, and we’ll have a DIY craft for the little ones,” said the library on its site.

Those interested in participating should register their broken item in advance so the FixIt team knows what’s coming down the pike. Click here to register today.

The San Pablo Library is located at 13751 San Pablo Ave. in San Pablo.
