One person suffered minor injuries in a two-car accident that closed multiple lanes at the intersection of Hilltop Drive and Richmond Parkway on Monday evening.
Crews responded to the intersection at about 5:30 p.m., according to Richmond Firefighters Local 188, which shared photos from the crash scene.
“As you can see, one of the involved vehicles was heavily damaged, but luckily the occupant only received minor injuries,” stated Local 188, the union that represents city firefighters. “Multiple lanes at the intersection were shutdown as RPD investigated the accident and the vehicles were removed from the roadway.”
The cause of the accident wasn’t immediately known.
