The West Contra Costa Unified School District (WCCUSD) will hold its first-ever Latinx Graduation on May 30 at the Richmond Memorial Auditorium from 4-6 p.m. The new event features guest speakers and cultural performances to honor the Class of 2026.
Official graduation season for all WCCUSD schools begin later this month, starting with Middle College High School on May 23 at 10 a.m. at the Pinole Valley High Theater. The African American/Black Graduation takes place May 28 at 6 p.m. at the DeAnza Theater. On June 6, De Anza High graduates at 10 a.m. and Richmond High at 4 p.m., both at Contra Costa College. Adult Education follows on June 8 at 6 p.m. at the El Cerrito High Theater.
Ceremonies continue with Vista High and Vista Virtual on June 9 at 6 p.m. at the Pinole Valley High Theater. Sylvester Greenwood Academy graduates June 10 at 6 p.m. at the same theater. On June 11, the Transition Program meets at 11 a.m. at Vista High, while El Cerrito High graduates at 6 p.m. at its stadium. Kennedy High graduates June 12 at 5 p.m. at Contra Costa College. The final ceremonies on June 13 at Contra Costa College include Hercules High at 10 a.m. and Pinole Valley High at 4 p.m. Times for Reclassification and Extended Learning are not yet set.
