The Mom & Pop Art Shop in the Point is kicking off the holiday season this weekend with the first in a series of seasonal activities for the purchasing public.
This Sat., Nov. 20 from 5-9 p.m., the art shop will debut the “Oh Hello” art show featuring new artworks created by Julian Quayle and Aimee Alexander that will be on display through mid-January. Preceding the show’s launch, Rich City Rides will be outside the shop offering its “Roadside Bike Repair” from 12-4 p.m.
Arts of Point Richmond (AOPR) will also be outside the shop with a membership table Sat., Nov. 20, Nov. 27, Dec. 4 and Dec. 11 so artists can become a member and be a part of upcoming art shows like the AOPR Group Art Show Feb. 12—also a “Bring Love Back” fundraiser for Skytown Preschool.
The following week will usher in the start of the Small Business Saturday Winter Wonderland, where local vendor pop-ups will be on hand with an array of gift-giving options every Saturday until Christmas: Sat., Nov. 27, Dec. 4, Dec. 11 and Dec. 18. A “Mini Art Show” by the Mom & Pop Art Shop will also debut Nov. 27. Music will be provided by Skycopter.
