Richmond police believe two people shot each other Thursday morning in the 2400 block of Aberdeen Way. One person died at the scene and the other went to a hospital for treatment.
Officers arrived just before 11 a.m. to find one victim deceased. Detectives say there are no outstanding suspects and no ongoing threat to the public.
