Bay Area Rescue Mission to hold turkey giveaway for neighbors in need

Registration is now open for the Bay Area Rescue Mission’s annual Thanksgiving turkey giveaway.

The event is open to the public but recipients must register here in advance. The registration deadline is Friday, Nov. 19. Registrants will be able to pick up their meals from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 23, at the Bay Area Rescue Mission at 123 Macdonald Ave.

The Love Without Limits Turkey Giveaway is offered to “our community neighbors who are housed who need a little extra help to serve a Thanksgiving meal of their own.”

The Bay Area Rescue Mission is additionally serving Thanksgiving dinners to the hungry and those in need at its shelter at 200 Macdonald Avenue from 4-6 p.m., Nov. 22-25.
