The massive Pacific Sail & Powerboat show came to Richmond’s waterfront this past April, and it’s already planning its return next year.
The 2020 show will be back at the Craneway Pavilion and Marina Bay Yacht Harbor four another four days from April 16, through Sunday, April 19.
Produced by Sail America, the show features 65,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space that exhibits a variety of new sailboats and cruising powerboats, gear, accessories, clothing, seminars, on-the-water workshops, and special events designed for the boating enthusiast.
The event was held for the first time in Richmond in 2016, after organizers wanted to expand beyond the space limitations of its former spot, Jack London Square Marina in Oakland.
The move has been good for Richmond.
“Richmond sees people from near and far to be the first to step aboard new boats from the world’s top manufacturers,” organizers said.
