Starting next week, Richmond Swims will begin its popular low-cost adult swim lessons at the Richmond Plunge. These lessons, offered for a sixth straight year, are funded, in part, by a grant from US Masters Swimming Saves Lives Foundation.
The sessions are twice a week, for four weeks, for a total of eight lessons. Lessons run at 11 a.m., 5 p.m., and 6 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, from March 5 through March 29. Cost is $20 total and includes a swim cap. The lessons are small group, with a maximum of six students per instructor. Priority will be given to Richmond residents and City of Richmond employees.
The current session will be held Tuesday and Thursday evenings from March 6 through March 29. Two time slots are available: 5 pm or 6 pm. Future sessions will be announce as pool availability is confirmed.
