Starting Monday, April 7, San Francisco Bay Ferry will implement schedule changes that aim to address afternoon gaps on some routes, improve trip cadence, and increase system reliability.
Among the changes, more weekend service is coming to the Richmond route. Westbound to San Francisco, the weekend schedule will expand from five to seven trips between 8:55 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. Eastbound to Richmond, the weekend schedule will expand from five to seven trips between 9:35 a.m. and 8:50 p.m.
On weekdays, the 8:25 p.m. departure from Richmond to San Francisco will be removed from the schedule to accomodate two new trips at 8:15 p.m. and 8:40 p.m. Eastbound to Richmond, the last two departures from San Francisco are being moved up and will leave at 6:50 p.m. and 8 p.m.
