Rabbi Yitzchok Wagner and Chabad of Richmond, a Jewish center in the city, are celebrating the “Marina Bay Menorah Lighting” Sunday, Dec. 29 at 4:30 p.m. on the pier at Barbara and Jay Vincent Park in Richmond.
The pinnacle of the historic community Chanukah celebration will include the lighting of a grand, 9 foot tall menorah. Also part of the celebration will be hot latkes, donuts, musical entertainment and more fun stuff for young and old alike, according to the organizers. Traditional dreidels and coins will also be part of the festive mix.
A mini Pop-Up Shop will be on hand with ‘Am Yisrael chai and Chanukah items on sale for a cause. “Bring your family and friends to celebrate the fifth night of Chanukah in Marina Bay,” said organizers.
