The West Contra Costa Unified School District (WCCUSD) is teaming up UC Berkeley’s Destination College Advising Corps (DCAC) and Early Academic Outreach Program (EAOP) for a “College & Career Night” Thursday, Oct. 10 from 5-7 p.m. in El Cerrito High school’s gym.
The evening will provide ample opportunities to meet representatives from community colleges and four-year colleges both in-state and out-of-state, as well as career industries and scholarship opportunities such as Richmond Promise.
Organizers highlight the College & Career Night as a chance for 12th graders to explore their options as the college application season gets underway; for all middle/high school level students to check out post-high school opportunities; and for family members to speak with college and career industry reps for information.
