The Red Oak Victory ship’s famed “Pancake Breakfasts” will return to its decks with a Mother’s Day splash Sunday, May 12 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The Mother’s Day Pancake Breakfast kicks off the spring and summer breakfast season aboard the WWII Victory ship on Richmond’s shoreline. The ample serving is only $15 for adults and $5 for children age 8 and under.

The Sites Show will be aboard that day providing entertainment with their special mix of North and South American rock & roll. Visitors can also explore the ship and send a free radiogram to friends and family around the world. Docent-led tours of the ship are also available for a fee.

While the Mother’s Day Pancake Breakfast officially ends at 1 p.m., the Red Oak Victory remains open until 4 p.m. for those wanting to enjoy the beautiful bay views.
