“Second Sundays in the Point” is kicking off Feb. 11 from noon to 4 p.m. with a Super Bowl LVIII/Valentine’s edition of the recurring event, during which Point Richmond businesses offer special deals or discounts every second Sunday of the month.

The big game with the San Francisco 49ers versus the Kansas City Chiefs gets underway Sunday at 3:30 p.m., but that doesn’t mean a little shopping can’t occur beforehand, courtesy of a handful of businesses all within walking distance of each other in Point Richmond.

The following businesses are on the debut “Second Sundays in the Point” roster with special offerings:

Mom & Pop Art Shop, featuring sidewalk vendors and a 10 percent in-store discount, as well as Ghostlight Vintage, with a sidewalk sale and 10 percent off in the store, both at 24 W. Richmond Ave.;

Up & Under Pub and Grill, 2 W. Richmond Ave., offering a $5 specialty Super Bowl shot;

Point Richmond Gallery, 145 W. Richmond Ave., pouring a glass of bubbles for those taking in the Diane Epstein exhibition;

Extreme Pizza, 151 Park Pl., pleasing its fans with a buy-a-slice get-a-slice deal;

Kaleidoscope Coffee, 109 Park Place, providing a chance to spin the giveaway wheel with a purchase;

Guillermina, 101 W. Richmond Ave., offering 50 percent off at its sidewalk sale;

Little Louie’s Cafe & Catering, 49 Washington Ave., giving away a free madeleine with a hot drink purchase;

Black Star BBQ , 78 Railroad Ave., serving free cornbread with a bowl purchase from its food truck and also offering a Super Bowl Watch Party at its sister business, the Baltic Kiss.
