Eligible low-income residents can receive up to $15,000 in assistance to pay their overdue water and wastewater bill thanks to a recent update to the federal Low Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP).
The Richmond City Manager’s Office, Economic Development, Environmental and Health Initiatives Division is encouraging local residents to apply for the East Bay Municipal Utility District’s financial relief program for water bills. The program ends Sept. 30, 2023.
