NIAD Art Center’s 23rd Street studios in Richmond will come alive Sat., March 11 from 3-7 p.m. with “Win Win 11, Celebrating Our Good Fortune.

Organizers say the in-person/virtual annual fundraiser celebrates NIAD’s gratitude for its supporters and the work it does with others, as well as its appreciation for its good fortune in receiving future possibilities that come its way.

Supporters can expect an abundance of enjoyment at Win Win 11, in the form of art, tacos, live music/dancing, cocktails and silent/live auctions, per organizers. NIAD said the schedule of events will go something like this: 3 p.m.: Win Win 11 begins in-person and via Zoom; 4-6 p.m.: Live Auction, performances, live auction and more; 6 p.m.: Silent Auction closes; 6-7 p.m.: Music and dancing; and the event ends at 7 p.m.

The fundraiser’s Silent Auction will spotlight the work of 65 NIAD artists, while the Live Auction will not only include NIAD artists, but also other contemporary artists “from the Bay Area and beyond” who support the Art Center.

Support from the fundraiser will be applied toward NIAD’s general fund to help propel its work as a “progressive art studio for adult artists with developmental disabilities.”

NIAD Art Center is located at 551 23rd Street in the heart of Richmond. To purchase tickets to Win Win 11, to view auction items or to sponsor the fundraiser in another way, click here.
