As Uniting Hearts is revving up for its 2nd Annual Community Toy Giveaway, it’s in need of volunteers to help make the season brighter for children in need. The nonprofit also has something heartwarming in store for adults during its 6th Annual Pan Dulce & Coffee Giveaway.

On Sat., Dec. 17 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. the nonprofit will give away 350 toys at a Richmond location still to be determined, according to organizers from Uniting Hearts. Children will receive toys on a first come, first served basis and must be present to receive them. There will also be “a large arts & crafts section for the entire family to enjoy” per organizers.

Volunteers and donors are also needed the day before—Fri., Dec. 16 at 7 a.m.—for Uniting Hearts’ 6th Annual Pan Dulce & Coffee Giveaway, during which it will give out free coffee, pan dulce and 100 winter care packages at the Home Depot, 11939 San Pablo Ave. in El Cerrito, and local homeless encampments.
