The East Bay Center for the Performing Arts will host its 12th Annual Fall Gala Thurs., Nov. 3 at 6:30 p.m. via Livestream. The virtual event is free to attend; RSVP here to receive the livestream link or to donate.
The Gala, which is the Center’s largest annual fundraiser, will not only share student stories, but also those of faculty artists and leadership, according to organizers. With more than 3,500 student program participants and partnerships with Richmond schools, the Gala Campaign fundraising is essential toward supporting “world-class artists in their delivery of world-class curriculum” and uplifting “young artists as they embark on their path toward higher education and beyond.”
Located at 339 11th Street in Richmond, the East Bay Center for the Performing Arts is focused on “lifting up the lives of our young people through the healing power of art,” according to its website. It provides instruction to youth in dance, music, theatre and digital arts—as well as other offerings.
Those interested in becoming sponsors can contact Sara Rader at [email protected] for more info. Again, click here to RSVP for the event, to receive the livestream link and/or to donate to the Gala Campaign.
