Snapper’s Seafood Restaurant in Richmond has officially launched a food truck to offer catering and delivery to the greater Bay Area, according to owner Jabari Muhammad.

The food truck will not replace the popular restaurant that has operated at 1501 Ohio Ave. since 1992. Rather, it will serve to expand Snapper Seafood’s reach in the region.

Snapper’s Seafood serves up Louisiana-style fish, fried fish, fried chicken and fried oysters, alongside sides of greens, yams, mac & cheese, potato salad, red beans and rice.

Muhammad encourages the public to follow Snapper Seafood’s social media pages to provide suggestions via social media on where the truck should park.

To inquire about the new food truck services, call Snapper’s Seafood at (510) 798-3963.
