A GoFundMe fundraiser has been launched to support the family of Erick Galeana, the 22-year-old San Pablo resident who was fatally shot in Richmond on Sept. 1.
“This tragedy cause a great deal of heartache to those who loved Erick,” Cinthia Farias in the online fundraiser. “He was a son, brother, grandson and a uncle; Asking for help to provide for his family with financial stress while his family mourns his passing. He will be greatly missed.”

Galeana, 22, of San Pablo, was killed, and a 20-year-old Richmond resident injured, in a mid-afternoon shooting in the area of 17th Street and Roosevelt Avenue in the Belding Woods neighborhood. No arrests or motive have been announced in connection with the homicide.
