The Richmond Parks and Landscaping Division is requesting families to refrain from using play structures at parks as part of the effort to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
“If you choose to take your children out to exercise or get fresh air, please use areas of parks and open spaces where you and your children can maintain social distancing and other public health practices with those around you,” according to the parks communication, which was shared via email and social media by Richmond Mayor Tom Butt.
