Authorities are investigating a homicide after a 40-year-old man was found deceased along the train corridor near Parr Boulevard and Giant Road.
The body of William Cody Tate of San Pablo was found at about 10:45 a.m. Thursday, according to the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office. While investigators initially suspected Tate had suffered from a gunshot wound, they later discovered he had been struck by a train, the sheriff’s office said.
