Fire Wings restaurants are popping up all over Northern California and beyond. One is soon coming to Pinole.
The COVID-19 pandemic has pushed back the dates of some of the latest Fire Wings grand openings, including the one planned for the Gateway West shopping center at 1400 Pinole Valley Road, right next to Habit Burger.
The Pinole branch is expected to open early next year, possibly in about three months, but the ongoing pandemic makes it difficult to put a solid date on it, according to Tim Tran of the Fire Wings development team.
“If you continue to look at our website, on Facebook and our Instagram, more information will be available as the time comes near,” Tran said.
Fire Wings offers more than 20 wing flavors, beer on tap, salads and sides such as garlic noodles, mac-n-cheese, zucchini sticks, tater tots, stuffed jalapenos and Hawaiian rolls. One side they are known for is their chicken and mozzarella sticks.
Fire Wings was birthed in a small shopping center off of Center Parkway in Sacramento. Five years later they’ve spread across Northern California, into Southern California, and even in Houston, Texas. They currently have 29 locations in California, including in the Bay Area such as Berkeley, Vallejo, American Canyon, Hayward, San Francisco, San Mateo, Alameda, San Jose and Modesto.
What has prompted Fire Wings’ success?
“Our flavors and amazing customers,” Tran said. “We would not be able to provide the great quality foods if were not for great quality customers. We are thankful every day for them and we continue to strive to give back to our community just as the community has given to us.”
