Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, large employers are hiring locally, including CVS, Amazon, Instacart and the US Postal Service. Employment support services remain available to job seekers, as well.
Community members can find links to employers hiring now at the San Pablo EDC’s Facebook page located here. Also for job seekers, the San Pablo EDC is also conducting a call Tuesday mornings at 10 a.m. that covers Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act job search and training, resources available for job seekers looking to upgrade their skills and credentials, and how to apply for the WIOA program to be able to work one-on-one with a career counselor.
To join the Tuesday orientation, on or before 10 a.m., call (425) 436-6369. When prompted, use access code 589463 followed by pound or hash (#).
