Republic Services has temporarily suspended some of its services in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Effective Monday, March 30:
- Only cart/commercial bin contents will be collected.
- Drivers will not be authorized to leave their vehicles to pick up wastes outside carts or commercial containers.
- On-call Clean-ups of Bagged Materials and Bulky Household Items will be suspended temporarily.
- The West County Integrated Resource Recovery Facility (“IRRF”) will be operating under the following guidelines:
- The HHW Drop-Off Center will continue regular operating schedule: Wednesday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. (closed 12:00-1:00 p.m.)
- Door-to-door pick-up of HHW for disabled and senior residents will be suspended temporarily.
- The HHW Drop-Off Center will continue regular operating schedule: Wednesday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. (closed 12:00-1:00 p.m.)
- Compost Give-away is suspended temporarily.
- The IRRF Buy-back Center will be closed
- “Bye-bye Mattress” Program–the IRRF will continue to accept mattresses from eligible residents.
“The City and Republic Services will continue to ensure high quality service with minimal service disruption as we navigate the Shelter in Place order,” the company said. “On-call services will resume as soon as possible.”
