The San Pablo Economic Development Corporation and the Northern California Teamsters Apprentice Training are hosting three two-day trainings for OSHA 10-Hour and Disaster Site Worker certifications.
The trainings will be offered on May 28-29 (OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Safety Course); June 3-4 (OSHA 10-Hour Construction Industry Safety Course); and June 5-6 (Disaster Site Worker 15-Hour Course).
The May 28-29 and June 3-4 trainings will run from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., while the June 5-6 training will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. All classes will take place in the Community Room of the San Pablo Library at 13751 San Pablo Ave. in San Pablo.

OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Safety Course
This two-day course satisfies the training requirements of OSHA General Industry Safety and Health Outreach Program; it is intended for workers at hazardous waste remediation, Superfund, and/or DOE environmental remediation projects.
OSHA 10-Hour Construction Industry Safety Course
This two-day course satisfies the training requirements of OSHA General Industry Safety and Health Outreach Program; for construction workers at hazardous waste remediation and/or DOE environmental remediation projects.
Disaster Site Worker 15-Hour Course
The two-day 15-Hour Disaster Site Worker Course provides disaster site workers awareness of the safety and health hazards they may encounter, and includes the importance of respiratory and other personal protective equipment (PPE), proper decontamination procedures, and the use of the Incident Command System (ICS). It is intended for workers who would provide skilled support or clean-up services in response to natural and man-made disasters. This course satisfies the training requirements of the OSHA Outreach 15-Hour Disaster Site Worker Course.
