County hosting teacher recruitment fair on Feb. 23


The Contra Costa County Office of Education (CCCOE) is set to hold its annual Teacher/Certificated Staff Recruitment Fair on Saturday, Feb. 23.

The free event will run from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Alhambra High School’s gymnasium at 150 E St. in Martinez.

“Attendees will discover a number of county-wide teaching positions in a variety of fields, including all levels of K-12 education, specialty, and substitute teaching positions,” according to CCCOE.

Along with the CCCOE, representatives from 16 Contra Costa County school districts, along with a number of the county’s charter schools, will be present. Information about local teaching programs and teaching credential requirements will also be available.
