A new swim class offered at Richmond pools is adorably called “Little Splashers.”
It’s a drop-in class, no registration required, offered twice weekly to youth ages 6 months to 4 years old accompanied by their parents or caregivers, according to the city. The fee is only $2 per person, parent and child.
Little Splashers classes are offered Mondays from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Richmond Swim Center, 4300 Cutting Blvd., and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Richmond Plunge, 1 E. Richmond Ave.
“The class is a great way for parents to help their young children acclimated to water, learn safety tips, and maybe meet new friends,” city officials said.
