A Richmond woman who was struck by a vehicle on San Pablo and Waldo avenues in El Cerrito last month died from her injuries on Thursday, the El Cerrito Police Department reported.
Donna Revecho, 66, was identified as the victim of the accident, which occurred Nov. 15 at 2:19 p.m.
Officers responded to several calls of a pedestrian that had been struck by a vehicle and they located Revecho lying unresponsive in the roadway, police said.
The El Cerrito Fire Department and AMR provided life-saving care, and the woman was airlifted to a local trauma center. The driver remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation.
El Cerrito police say criminal charges may be filed against the driver pending an autopsy by the Contra Costa County Coroner’s Office. Further details about the incident were not immediately available.
