NIAD featured in ‘Art Passages’ exhibition in Martinez

Arts Contra Costa County’s (ARTSCCC) latest “Art Passages” exhibition features works from Richmond’s NIAD Art Center and is on display through Oct. 1 at the County Administration Building in Martinez.

Aside from artwork created by NIAD’s artists with disabilities, the exhibition will include works from arts organizations originating from each county supervisorial district so as to exemplify art in their communities. An exhibition reception will be held Aug. 14 from 2-4 p.m.

All arts organizations being featured in Art Passages include: NIAD Arts Center (District 1); Lamorinda Arts Council (District 2); Village Community Resource Center (District 3); Las Juntas ~ East Bay Artists Guild (District 4); and Epperson Gallery (District 5).

The County Administration Building in Martinez, which is the location of the exhibition, is at 1025 Escobar St. in Martinez. It’s open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Questions? Contact (510) 426-6454 or [email protected].
