The “Walk for Peace” will lead participants on a five-mile urban trek from the Sera Jey Foundation in El Cerrito to the Gyuto Foundation in Richmond on Saturday, May 9.

The out-and-back journey begins at 10 a.m. and serves as an early Mother’s Day celebration for the community. Organizers welcome all residents to join the walk to promote tranquility and local connection.

Organizers planned the five-mile excursion to honor mothers and foster a sense of calm in the East Bay.
