Richmond Little League’s Senior Softball team recently won the District 4 championship for the third time since 2021.
The team was set to play in the All Stars tournament for the opportunity to possibility to qualify for the Little League World Series.
“We just have to win the district tournament, then we advance to section,” said Eva Padilla Romero, president of Richmond Little League. “If we win section, we go to Montana in July. If we win in Montana, we go to the Little League World Series!”
The team, which also won titles in 2021 and 2022, is led by Manager Sharee Taylor and Coaches Antonio Romero III and Derrick Phillips.
