A groundbreaking will be held for the new San Pablo Police Department Headquarters and Regional Training Center on Thursday, Aug. 10.
The project will be a two-story building consisting of 42,000 square feet and will be located on a 2.3-acre lot adjacent to the new City Hall at the corner of Gateway Avenue and Chattleton Lane, according to the City of San Pablo.
The mailing address for the new center will be 1050 Gateway Ave.
