Showing once again the value of teamwork, the San Pablo United Youth Soccer Club girls U-19 squad made a big impact on their community on Saturday by partnering with the city to clean up the creek at Davis Park.
The 11 teammates picked up 18 bags worth of litter and trash, along with a bike, carpet, high chair and radiator, the city reported.
“Thank you volunteers!,” city officials stated in a Facebook post.
