The City of San Pablo is pursuing grant funds through Prop 68 to renovate the park at 2600 Moraga Road (adjacent to the El Portal Soccer Fields), and community members are being asked to help shape its future.
Residents can tell the city what they want to see in a new park in an online public meeting on Jan. 13 at 5 p.m. For those who can’t attend the meeting, they can provide input via this survey. www.surveymonkey.com/r/SPProp68Park
San Pablo has been conducting community outreach since Spring 2019. This month, the city plans to submit its application for grant funding and is expecting to learn whether it will get that funding in 2021.
“If the City is awarded grant funding, the City will hold additional community meetings to finalize project design,” city officials said.
