Hercules Mayor Roland Esquivias, City Council members and the Bay Front Chamber of Commerce came out for a ribbon cutting ceremony Wed., Aug. 19 for The Exchange at Bayfront, a 172-residence community on 2.2 acres along the Hercules waterfront.
Also joining the ceremony that day were representatives from real estate firm Legacy Partners, which will manage the development, and Ledcor Development LP, which developed it. The same team is behind the Hercules Waterfront Master Plan.
The Exchange—which is located between John Muir Parkway, Bayfront Boulevard and Refugio Creek—had its groundbreaking in the fall of 2018; the ribbon cutting marked the completion of the first part of a “multi-phase transit-oriented project on the 42 acres along the Hercules bayfront,” per Legacy.
Aside from 13,000 square feet of ground level retail space, the community features smaller residential units and lofts, as well as three-level townhomes. Other highlights include a rooftop sky bar, charging stations, fitness center, storage units, pet salon and other amenities. It also offers quick access to the San Francisco Bay Trail, and eventually, a Ferry and Train Station.
The Exchange at Bayfront’s leasing office is located at 2525 Bayfront Blvd. in Hercules and is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more info, call (844) 326-2468 or click here.
