San Pablo’s Public Works Department is hosting a Dumpster Day on Saturday, April 13, at 2600 Moraga Road (the old El Portal school site) from 7 a.m. until the dumpsters get full.
“This is a chance for residents to get rid of any old items that have been sitting around,” the city said.
And this happens to be one of the last dumpster days where resident can dispose of mattresses.
Items that will NOT be accepted include electronic devices, tires, batteries and all hazardous materials (paint, oil, pesticides or any liquids). Also, commercial vehicles and moving trucks are not allowed, and personal vehicles will be limited to two cubic yards.
To benefit from this, residents must bring proof of San Pablo residency (a copy of your PG&E or EBMUD statement with your address and a photo ID).
