The Pinole Police Department is investigating a series of graffiti incidents reported across the city.
Residents online are saying the graffiti written on several private properties appears to be critical of the city’s mayor and the condition of its roads. KRON4 reports on the case in more detail, and also received video surveillance footage of the suspect from police.
“PPD said the suspected vandal struck five times early Wednesday between 2:10 a.m. and 2:50 a.m.,” KRON4 reported. “The targeted locations were four local businesses and one residence.”
These acts “have caused property damage and have impacted members of our community,” police said.
