A group of local residents and community-based groups will host a back to school cookout, on Saturday August 17 at Cerrito Vista Park, 7007 Moeser, Lane, El Cerrito.
The festivities will run from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., and include games, prizes, and a barbecue cookout. Backpacks filled with school supplies will also be handed out for a raffle.
The event is being sponsored by Richmond resident and rapper @wantmoren8 along with a few friends who’ve dubbed themselves as ‘Young Brothers From Richmond CA Making A Difference’.
