The San Pablo Reservoir reopened for the 20202 season today.
That’s great news for people who love to fish, as Rocky Mountain Recreation Company, which manages the area, arranged for 8,000 pounds of trout to be planted prior to the opening.
Also, tomorrow from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., the area will host the Norcal Trout Anglers Challenge (see the flyer below, or click here for more information).
The San Pablo Reservoir Recreation Area doesn’t just offer fishing and boating, but also picnicking, kayaking and hiking and hosts events such as weddings and meetings. The recreation area is located off San Pablo Dam Road between Orinda and El Sobrante.
