San Pablo and Hercules residential customers will receive one-time service credits on their December 2025 bills due to two missed garbage collections during a July work stoppage, officials from both cities announced this week.
The work stoppage, which occurred July 8–18, temporarily halted regular pickup service across parts of West Contra Costa County.
The move mirrors an agreement the City of Richmond recently reached with Republic Services, among other impacted jurisdictions.
