Hundreds of families suffering from economic hardships are going to have a brighter holiday season thanks to this local business.
Every year, the Metro By T-Mobile store located at 12800 San Pablo Avenue at the corner of Esmond Avenue in Richmond holds a party during which it invites community members to receive toys and photos with Santa Claus.
It happened again this past Saturday and it was another great success, said owner Ian Taha.
The business holds this event and also a Back-to-School giveaway in August in order to express appreciation for its customers.
“It feels so good that we are able to be in a position to give back to the community and help families be able to get new toys for their kids,” Taha said. “It is annual event that we enjoy doing to help our community.”
