The Richmond community is being asked to provide input on the Neighborhood Complete Streets project, which includes state grant funding for street improvements in the Iron Triangle, Coronado and Santa Fe neighborhoods.

A “Neighborhood Complete Streets Town Hall” is planned for Saturday, Nov. 16, from noon to 2 p.m. at Nevin Community Center, 598 Nevin Ave. in Richmond.

Community input can also be provided at Harbour Way and the Richmond Greenway daily from Nov. 12 through Nov. 15, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The project will focus on pedestrian and bicycle access on Harbour Way, Marina Way, Wright Avenue, and Ohio Avenue. Citiy officials say the improvements will create connections to downtown, neighborhoods, schools, parks, the Richmond Greenway and Richmond Ferry.

The project’s design is just underway, with construction expected to begin in Spring 2026.

The “Neighborhood Complete Streets Town Hall” is part of the state’s $35 million Transformative Climate Communities grant program that aims to fund collaborative projects at the neighborhood level.
