La Plazita, a free, open-to-the-public marketplace and networking event showcasing local Latina businesses, is coming to CoBiz Richmond this Sunday, Sept. 29, courtesy of the Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center.
Renaissance is a nonprofit that is working to change lives through entrepreneurship. As part of that mission, the organization is inviting the community this event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at CoBiz, the coworking and business incubator at 1503 Macdonald Ave.
The businesses will showcase their products, share their entrepreneurial journeys and will encourage feedback from the community.
“Attendees will have the opportunity to listen to live tabletop business pitches, engage with entrepreneurs, and support their growth by offering insights and encouragement,” organizers state. “The event is part of Renaissance’s ongoing commitment to fostering a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem, with a focus on providing resources, education, and support to women of color. Through our cohort of Latinas Empresarias, and the event La Plazita, Renaissance aims to amplify the voices of Latina entrepreneurs and equip them with the tools and networks they need to succeed in today’s competitive market.”
