No injuries were reported in a home fire early Monday in North Richmond.
At about 1:45 a.m., firefighters from both the Richmond Fire Department and Contra Costa County Fire responded to the fire in the 300 block of Chesley Avenue, according to Richmond Firefighters Local 188, the union that represents city firefighters.
Firefighters made access into the building and located a fire in the walls and attic space, officials said.
“The stubborn flames were brought under control without issue or injury,” fire officials said.
No immediate details were provided about the cause of the fire or extent of damages.
