The West Contra Costa Unified School District (WCCUSD) on Tuesday launched its summer meal program for 2024, noting that “hunger does not take a vacation.”
Starting June 10, nutritious meals were being offered to children and teens ages 18 and under while school is out for the summer at various sites across West Contra Costa County, including schools, parks, libraries and community centers.
The meals are sourced locally, fresh, seasonal, and organic, the district said.
There is no need to sign up for this program, as all children and teens eat for free.
The following is an official list of the Summer Feeding Program Sites.
