A “Vegan Pop-Up Market” will sprout up Sunday, June 23 from noon to 5 p.m. at Exit Now, 3223 Pierce St. in Richmond.
Hot off the success of the Vegan Vibes pop-up at 7 Stars, the cannabis dispensary is helping to organize another one at its next door neighbor’s place, Exit Now. The latest incarnation of the vegan culinary event will feature local small businesses serving tasty, healthy, humane and environmentally friendly foods.
Admission is free and 10 percent of meal purchases will benefit Jelly’s Place animal rescue. “Eat for the animals,” encouraged the dispensary on its website.
Music will help set the tone as locals peruse the culinary offerings, including Marbella Zepeda’s Vegan Vibes, which will serve up tacos, burritos and aguas frescas; Luciano Buenrostro, who will have empanadas, soyrizo con papa, churro cheesecake, jackfruit tinga and aguas frescas; Sage’s Taqueria Vegana La Libertad will feature tortas veganas de chorizo and carne asada with beans, along with their special hot sauce and aguas frescas; Cat’s Stayn Juicy will have fruit smoothies, sea moss infused juice, fully loaded wafflecado toast and ceviche nachos; and JJ’s Vegan Street food will sell burritos and mulatas.
Exit Now is a local arts and events space available for rental in Richmond. Reserve your spot with a free ticket. Learn more about 7 Stars and the Vegan Pop-Up Market.
