The Red Oak Victory Ship’s “Father’s Day Pancake Breakfast” is set for Sunday, June 16 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is cooking up a recipe for some memorable times with the family.
The pancake breakfast includes pancakes, sausage, bacon and scrambled eggs, along with apple slices, coffee and orange juice. Mimosas are also available for a fee. Breakfast is served for a bargain price of $15 for adults and $5 for children age 8 and under.
The ship’s deck will be set up with tables and chairs, where visitors can enjoy their breakfasts while catching the classic tunes of the George Cole Trio.
Visitors can take a tour of the ship after breakfast or send a free radiogram to anywhere in the world. The sizeable ship remains open for exploration until 4 p.m. that day.
